First International Conference on Sustainable Energy Solutions for a Better Tomorrow (SESBT 2020) was organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai on July 23rd and 24th, 2020. However, due to the COVID 19 pandemic the conference was held Online. The main objective of SESBT 2020 was to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners from both academic institutions and industries to meet and share cutting-edge developments in the areas of sustainable energy and associated disciplines. This conference also provided an opportunity to exchange research evidence and innovative ideas and also the issues related to sustainable energy. A total of 92 research papers associated with the latest research areas such as Carbon Neutrality, Energy Storage, Green Buildings and Renewable Energy was presented in the conference.
